Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä (/iˈkæ̝/ /fjɑ/ [technological] [link]) is a subtropical Town located in the Gæ̈timukegéif Region of the Confederation of Goblin Tribes.

The name Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä is derived from the Gnollish language, as Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä was founded by Me vyim Roxlendeplə˞rd, who was culturaly Gnollish.

Climate

Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä has a yearly average temperature of 16°C (60°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a warm 27°C (80°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a cold 5°C (41°F). Overview

Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä was founded durring the early 12th century in winter of the year 1145, by Me vyim Roxlendeplə˞rd. The establishment of Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä was only bairly constructed. The sheer number of problems with its founding were enough to make several of the backers funding Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä's construction back out of the project. Me vyim Roxlendeplə˞rd pushed on reguardles, and Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä was finished, but starts off as a terible place to live.

Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä was built using the conventions of Gnollish durring the early 12th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature delicute timber framework hidden behind layer upon layer of finly ground plaster bleached to an almost glossy white sheen, with green clay tiled roofs and decorative brass-leafed trim. Even the smallest, poorest looking structures appear to be expencive thanks to the extreem elegence of the organic shapes and paterns going into their lofty, spire-y, vagly gothic designs. The more well off folks live in identicle homes, save for even shiner trim and a more whimsical appearance to their structures flowing forms.

Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä is buildings are arranged arround a network of premissive paverstone streets which form a diagonal shaped grid, where each square verries in size given the proximity of the paralell streets forming each section. The ocasional smaller square has been used to construct a park, plaza, and other communal structures. The town is protected by a renforced stone fence which sits atop earthwork defences, for some of the best inexpencive defences a town of Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä's size could have. The well-designed, yet cheep have not been wellmaintained over the years, and while functional are in dire need of some loving care and perhapse light renovation.

A look around Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä is like a look into a broken heart which long ago fell to corruption. There is no planning, no organization. Everyone here clearly goes about their own thing with little thought to anyone around them who isn’t selling something they need… unless of course, they would be an easy target for some robbery. The town has truly fallen to evil.

Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä has a monistary of an order of Civil Monks, who provide divine-related services to the general public and maintain Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä's public wards, blessings, and other arcane systems.

Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä possesses an older civil lighting system consisting of street lamps. These lights provide nighttime illumination to most city streets.

Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä has a Parks and Recreation Department, which is responsible for the construction, management, and usage rights for all of its parks and parklands.

Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä has a public schooling program overseen by the Hall of Sages who has the responsibility of ensuring access to affordable high-quality education in all basic classes (Reading, Writing, Mathmatics, General Sciences, General Arcana, and Social Education) is made available to all citizens.

Cultural Notes

Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä's garrison was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is best known for its functional shapes, abstract shapes used sparingly for decor, simple color schemes, holistic design, and basic industrial materials. Its simple designs were created to be beautiful, functional, and mass-producible. The style used little to no embellishment or ornamentation, instead drawing attention to the streamlined design, such as flat roofs to create a simple, geometric look. The simplicity masks the style's nearly sinister functionality, as every last feature is designed to guide the people living in the building in how to make the most efficient use of the structure.

In Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä there is a constant smell of overcooked presumably ethnic food.

The Dlurgraven near Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä are known to be almost tame, such that they can be put to domestic use.

Mäpt Uridïpi-fjä's citizens partake in a curious ritual relating to their local kami. It takes place in autumn and involves long periods of drunkenness to channel Augury energies of tier 2 via oath swearing.
